When in portrait mode, easily see you current heading via a beautiful compass that animates as you change directions.
When in landscape mode, the addition of an inlaid map adds to the experience by showing your current direction directly on the map next to the compass. You can view the map in two modes:
• rotate the directional cone around your current location while keeping map north facing up, or…
• keep the directional cone facing up, and rotate the map around your current location as your heading changes.
Settings allow you to calibrate the compass using either True or Magnetic north, and the map can be displayed as a standard map, satellite map, or hybrid.
